This design was created for Arianne’s younger self. Here is her story:

The thing I wish I could tell my young self is to not consider the plans I had for my life the end all and be all of everything. Yes, we should make plans and we should execute. But, if things don’t go as planned, if things fail… if I fail… that doesn’t have to mean I, myself, am a failure.

I could interpret it that way, of course.

Or, I could instead look for why God said no. And, I could look for that different door. And, I could take the “failure” and glean as much learning from it as I can. And there’s always so much learning to do. It’s pride and ego that say otherwise.

Truth is, God says no, even to the most well-intentioned, best-laid, and amazingly executed plans. Who are we to say He shouldn’t have?
